Apologies for the specific question, just want to have everything covered.

Once a drug has been ground down and placed into several gelatin capsules, is it safe to keep those capsules in a sealed glass jar without the powder inside spoiling?

Does it depend on the drug?

In general it is safe, it depends on the drug. Gelatin capsules generally have a shelf life of 1 year. Some drugs oxidize over time.
