Can the hands move after you push the chair with you legs? More precisely, can I still control my hands after I push away the chair while in suspension?

I'm afraid that my hands will fuck things up for me by trying to reach to the rope or climb the metal bars next to where I'll attempt.

You can get a second rope and tie your hands with it before kicking the chair.

In my case I was able to move hands and back out. (though it also helped that I could just and just touch the ground with my toetips.)

It is common during hanging that the hands make marks around the neck trying to get the rope off, but it doesn't generally work- I don't think your hands will be able to lift you up to the bar either. If the knot is good and what you tie it to is solid the only way out I think is for someone to rescue you- in one case a person was rescued after 20 minutes and survived. If your arms or legs can reach a wall or door they will make banging noises, because the limbs thrash about trying to get oxygen anyway they can as they lose oxygen. The biggest risk of failure with this method is from noise and being rescued. If a person has a house or building to themselves then most likely no one will hear, unless someone happens to walk close by a window at the wrong time, possibly.

20min?! Don't tell me the person was conscious for 20min?

I thought I was supposed to pass out after 13sec and die within 12minutes...?

In any case, fasting several days to significantly weaken the body prior to the attempt sounds like a good idea.

I think the peacefully pill handbook is in the wiki section of the site

As long as you are conscious you can grip the rope. Unless you are very strong and fit, you will not be able to free yourself, you will only prolong your suffering. For that reason I thought of handcuffs behind my back. But I will be in a very bad situation when I change my mind after being handcuffed.

The mechanism of hanging is surprisingly complicated.

How am I supposed to push the chair if both my hand and legs are tied (to avoid any attempt at escaping).

For me to be even able to pouch the chair away, I'll have to have some sort of control of my legs, right? But I can't afford to give control to my legs because SI could ruin my attempt. The point is to plan I so that I'm completely helpless when I do it.

Yet, without control of my legs, I can't push the chair. And if I don't push away the chair so that it's completely out of reach, my SI will try to get to the chair while I'm hanging.

Dammit this is such a headache.

The pink dot is where I'll tie my rope. My fear is that my hands will try to climb the window enough for me to be able to breath 20211202 104745
Also, can full suspension hanging death happen by vascular obstruction instead of airway blockage? I'd rather it happen by vascular obstruction (wayyyy less painful) but it seems to be a matter of luck only.

People pass out very quickly if it closes off the arteries, but sometimes this does not happen and at first it closes off the windpipe some of the way but not all of the way, and over time it tightnes- that is what is scary about this method- though it is still a top two method for me due to reliability. I don't know if they were conscious for the whole 20 minutes or not, but I think probably not.
