Hi everyone.
I would like to discuss the design of Exit Bag for use in a car (you can not only use in a car).
There are large garbage bags of very high density. Why not put him on the whole body in a half -sitting position and easily fix it.
The environment with inert gas will be larger, it will be easier to breathe, the concentration of inert gas will be high.
What do you think will work? I will attach a conditional scheme in the photo in the spoiler

connect through a medical mask so as to direct the flow of inert gas to the face

The user proposed ideal option @GasMonkey
He offers to use a respiratory transplant with a mask (in more detail in a large topic with inert gas). I have no opportunity to assemble all this design. But there is a balon, flow meter and bags

Maybe I'm missing the point, but what is the benefit to encapsulating oneself in a body-sized exit bag as opposed to just using a head-sized bag or a mask? Certainly, it would require more N2. Seems susceptible to having a hole kicked in it, too, possibly even acquiring a wear hole due to surface abrasion. Heck, why not just fabricate an air-tight container, maybe made from lexan or similar material, in the shape of a coffin. You could even incorporate a valve with a timer to start the flow of N2 sometime after securing yourself in the chamber.

My large bag is very tight, it is virtually impossible to pierce it with bare hands. A large volume will allow, in my opinion, a large amount of inert gas to accumulate from above, which minimizes the possibility of re-breathing CO2

I don't think this is a good idea since it's a design that has never been seriously tested to determine the optimal circumstances for it to work (flow rate, gas volume, hose diameter, etc).

This design reminds me a little of Sarco. But I don't pretend

I think it allows for more oxygen and bits of oxygen can cause convulsions and the whole thing might get kicked off. I'm just thinking...
