Method Freezing to death most painless?

It reminds me an inca girl mummy who was frozen to death for sacrifice. There was coca leaves in her mouth and it was for drugging her to reduce her pain if i remember correctly. I wonder if it actually helped her...

Read about prisoners doing this. Splash water on their cell floor for better heat conduction and lay on it until they die.

I remember the day when we were skiing and drinking in the forest with my classmates just outside Moscow. We were pissed and tired when we had to go back, carrying the skis backpacks etc. It was already dark with temperatures around -15C. On the way back me and another guy felt like taking a nap on the snowy road. I didnt feel any cold, just a nice cozy feeling... This happens a lot in Russia, ppl just fall asleep like that, it may feel very peaceful especially if you combine the freezing cold with some alcohol or better yet an opiate overdose... Youd be like Jack Nicholson at the end of "the shining" by the morning...

Just do not be found before you die! You'll have a lot of pain being thawed and likely lose some limbs.
