Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

It is reason which keeps me from doing self harm. I dont want people to look and start worrying.

I haven't done self harm but one of my friend does it and when I asked her how does her family and friends react to her scars she simply said they don't care.

My family is used to it, so are close friends. Most people I have a feeling they notice bit don't say anything, I'm not sure though. But I don't do it in visible places, I use my thighs. Seriously, I don't understand why people do their arms. It's plain stupid to be honest

Not very caring family, seems like...my family would get very worried

My mom saw my SH when I was about 13. She was devastated and put me in therapy right away. She used to check my wrists so I would self harm other places to not be seen. My friends self harmed too but they worried for me bc I was more severe (cutting all day, even cutting at school).
I guess it depends on your family/friends. Mine overall worried and still do. I'm 24 now and relapsed a few months ago after 5 years clean, but I am now about 3 months clean. If you haven't started, please don't. You don't have to listen to me, but I cut for about 8 years consistently and it really becomes an addiction and even when I was clean for 5 years, I thought of it every day all day long. But again, totally your choice. I know how it feels to hate yourself and need some type of release.

My family teased me about them when I was a kid. "Did a cat scratch you again? Looool"

Friends have never commented on them, only one ex partner has by asking if I had cut myself.

My mum ignored it. She didn't say or do anything I thought she didn't know until the police asked her if she knew and she said she'd known for a while. That was at 14 now I'm 19 and I'm pretty sure she knows still but she doesn't say anything.

They called me mentally ill and said that only someone who'd lost their mind would do that. How lovely.
