Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

In my ideal scenario, once I'm dead and my body is disposed of, everyone's memories of me will be erased somehow—so they won't have to feel grief. I also don't want people to think of me when I'm gone, but the unfortunate reality is that we can't control other people's emotions, especially after we die. The living have the right to mourn how they wish. Spending time lurking communities for people whose loved ones caught the bus helped me accept this.I don't really want people to think of me when I am gone. I don't expect them to.

Yes, they would know. I'm also going to tell them beforehand to look out for butterflies, after all I don't want them second guessing themselves once it happens. There's just something about animals, their spirit/energy is so pure. An encounter with a butterfly can be profound, it would be such a treat for a person. But it can happen with cats too! As they are very spiritual. I can just imagine you as a cat running after your people to give hugs/kisses/purrs and just keep them company for a bit.
I used to believe in a higher power then decided I didn't believe in it anymore, only to circle back to it as a full believer. It is okay to change your beliefs as you get more information. I have never been keen on feathers either but if they freak you out maybe you can explore with her other ways to show her presence, that is more meaningful to you. If she's a spiritual person I think she'd be very receptive to your ideas! Really, really.
Spirituality and belief in a Creator/religion are very closely tied, but they don't have to be. This sort of thing is extremely personal, and how exactly a "spirit" or "soul" is defined is entirely subjective, based on personal experiences. For others, being spiritual means having faith in a religion. But in my opinion, spirituality is tied more closely to how someone connects the human experience to nature, and how that interpretation can provide people with a greater sense of who they are and what their place in the world is. It's about figuring out where you are in the big web that links us to each other and the world around us.

@bankai Thank you so much for your words. I completely agree. In my case, I knew they were going to mess with my head even more, and that's what they did with the pills. I can no longer think or remember. My family now says I have to do my part and that the pills aren't hurting me. Anyway, Daenerys is back, but with more cognitive damageI'm angry for you.I don't have much faith in therapists either. But I really don't want to see any therapist. Interestingly enough, my mother's a doctor and she has told me enough horror stories about the medical industry and therapists on a whole.
They're just as much in the dark as we are. There's a lot of trial and experimentation and finding out what works. Just no thanks.Some people end up even worse.
