• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I just watched a show where a cop gets this put around his neck and he is dead in seconds. I'm just wondering if this has any truth to it. Seems like a quick and easy death. Just put it on tighten it and your good as dead.

Shows are often inaccurate and sanitized. I have no doubt a zip tie cranked down hard on your neck would kill you. Unlike hanging, it is unlikely you will reach that level of pressure and will pass slowly. Rolling around on the floor tearing at my neck does not sound pleasant.

Ja, that sounds painful and like it would cut into the skin and cause lots of blood and what not at some point.

I wouldn't recommend it.

They make wide / large / foam padded ones that might be more comfortable, or even having a few large ones over some kind of neck fabric to keep them from biting into the skin. Also some lumps where your cartoids are to make it more comfortable might be good.

They also have releasable ones if you know where to shop. Assuming you don't pass out you should be able to take them off if you change your mind quickly or if they aren't working.

Might be a good idea on the cheap but finding good ones might be difficult, and cheap ones might not be trustworthy.

One idea in the same line that might work is velcro cable ties. Pull it tight and then secure it down, you can always rip it off and make it loose almost instantly if you need to, plus hard for anyone to guess what they're actually for if you keep some around your usual places. Or maybe even cinching straps. But that's getting back into the night night method.

Thanks for the information, DreamCatcher. I didn't know any of that and may delay my CTB date in order to accrue and test those out.
