So for my last couple of months i've been unable to sleep at night, whether it's no sleep or 2 hours of sleep my nights aren't filled with the pleasantries of dreaming. I just sit awake and do nothing but waste time and have my brain hurt. It got pretty bad and i was getting on average about 20-22 hours of sleep per week and it was giving my headaches or I would try and beat myself up to knock myself out. As you might see this doesn't do anything besides leave bruises on my face and gives me even worse headaches. Anyways yeah i'd be able to stay up for about 3 days straight and that would grant me 6 hours of sleep but i could never sleep longer or stay awake consistently longer. Last night i found myself in a comfortable situation where I was able to get a large amount of medical marijuana for free (i am dirt broke college student lol) and yeah anyways I took these eddies and slept for 9 whole hours never waking once. It's now been 3 hours i'm awake and I've done nothing but feel happy for the fact that i actually slept a whole nights sleep.

Lemme know if you guys have awful sleep patterns or what you did to break them because of course this isn't a good fix for me i'm not gonna have a steady inflow of eddies just brief comfort.

I'm so glad you've managed to sleep!
Just like you, my sleeping pattern was terrible.
In my case, my psych gave me new meds; quetiapine! (25mg) This pill is magical! I could barely sleep 3 or 4 hours a day and now I sleep like 7 or 8 hours!

I hope our good-sleep days are never over lol.

I honestly fight with myself over getting sleep aid because i feel like sleeping less means i'm able to do more also that i don't wanna have my sleep reliant on 3rd party substances, i wonder if you get this dilemma to?

Yesss, the same happens to me! I want to sleep more but at the same time, I hate the fact that I could do so many things if I slept for less hours! For example, these days I've been like "Damn, I've slept for 8 hours! I feel OK but only 16 left? This day will be short." lol

Also, 3rd party substances suck but I really hate not being able to turn off my brain and sleep like a normal person!

Sometimes I sleep okay others I don't. Sleep is the best thing about this life, in my opinion. The days are soooo long. It's exhausting to live like this.

Maybe you could look into melatonin supplements. That's the substance that gets naturally secreted by our bodies and it makes us sleepy.

I've actually tried that. It works okay sometimes and sometimes it doesn't. Well at least, for me, that was the case.

HI! I have had sleep problems all my life, and I am 64 years young! When I read your post it made my heart break. My sleep issues are genetic in nature. I have tried Ambien, Hydroxyzine, Klonopin and other meds and they do not work for me. I try and have my room as dark as possible and the temp at 68 degress fahrenheit . I am sending you all my support that you will be able to have a great nights sleep tonight. Walter :hug:

I have a different story with you, but I have a problem on my sleeping so.

If there is no any involvement, I sleep at least for 16-18 hours.
My mother stated to be worried with my sleep pattern,
And always recommended going to my favorite cafe etc.
Anyway she hates my sleeping pattern and tries to fix that.

Recently, It was very hard for me to move my fingers even,
and I slept and slept again for consoling myself.

Stay up all night and all the next day. Obviously pick a day you don't have anything going on. By the time it hits like 6pm you'll be able to fall asleep in a snap. This has worked for me multiple times. Also melatonin.
