Physical pain and depression

I finally got medical proof of a lifelong condition that will eventually take away my ability to walk. Still the dr is downplaying other aspects of my condition despite childhood diagnosis of RA. I don't really see any value in living in excruciating pain but I was willing to try to get treatment. When I don't spend the whole day and sometimes night in pain I think about ctb less. Also I can't tell the dr about my thoughts because I need them to be able to treat pain without worrying I might commit suicide. I wish my condition would also take my life but I am not lucky in that way. If I go I will still have to do it myself. This world is so unfair. It should not be so hard to exit if that is what you want to choose.

I'm sorry that you are in this situation, it sounds really awful what you are going through. To me it is horrifying that so many health conditions exist. People deserve the option of a peaceful way to exit at a time of their own choosing. I wish you the best in whatever happens.

Doctors always downplay everything. They have this kind of nonchalance they all display. It's an effort to appear measured and precise until they give you some psych pills to 'suck it and see'. Not very measured and precise at all. They're so ignorant at times. I've seen a couple of nice doctors but generally they're very self important and arogant. There's no room for intelligent patients. You surely can't know what's going on in your body as much as them. Infuriating.

Visiting and getting treatment should be a cooperative experience where you're kept in the light and involved in your treatment. Instead you're expected to have blind faith in their eternal wisdom.

No wonder people self medicate or ctb.

If you find a nice amd decent doctor fucking hold on to them and thank your lucky stars!

I went again today and just more tests but still not a cohesive plan. Very frustrating
