I adore my sister and little brother. And I can't shake off the guilt sometimes.

I feel like I'm betraying them, leaving them to fend for themselves, not being able to protect and provide for them..

I know it's not my job to do that. But our parents have been/are shitty and abusive.

I feel a responsibility to take care of them but don't have the capacity to do it. It makes me feel like I failed them. I think that will be my greatest regret.

I am in the same situation, unlike my parents are not so abusive, they will be fine without me but I am worried about what may happen later

It's not guilt for me, it's more like excessive worry that my wife will just fall apart and become a shell if I CTB. As mean and independent that she can portray, she also gives the other side of her that she cannot live without me.

That's the sad nature of this life. Suicide is a pain cycle, to end our own pain it passes it on to someone else. We cannot help feeling guilty, even know we didn't ask to exist so we have no obligations to stay alive. The fact is that we want to be free from the suffering that this life has handed us, and this is bound to have an affect on others. Personally I would never let others hold me back but in your situation I understand why you feel the way you do.

Yes, same here.

I just can't leave my dad alone and he will probably have a heart-attack or stroke once he finds out I'm dead. It really sucks! :(

My mother is making it hard for me, I've even told her due to the circumstances I don't wanna live no more, but she then makes things difficult due to the destruction I will cause by leaving it all behind.
It's a hard decision but, the choice is are you willing to leave them in pain that hopefully they will overcome and move on, or are you willing to go on suffering for them?

I understand, I used to feel the same way until my family kicked me out. They abandoned me, so I have no worries now.

I can relate to that. But everyone who loves you will understand that it was the best thing for you to end the pain and save you from more.

You could unambiguously state in your death note that it was not their fault and you considered and tried everything to make it better and did no impulsive action.

Nobody asked for your permission to be born and its your right to undo that. Of course that might be hurtful for others but thats just the way it is. Suicide is a mess for all of us and you just got to accept that and stop worrying.

But may I ask how old your brother and sister are? Do they still live with your abusive parents. If they do you could make sure they live on their own if they are old enough and thats economically possible. Maybe they could live with other family members.

To those of you who are afraid of hurting your family because of suicide: people die all the time, thats the way it goes. If youd die from natural courses or by accident theyll also had to live with it.
