Is anyone bothered that when we die, people won't necessarily respect our funeral wishes? For example things they would not understand: a funeral with only one person present, and the prohibition to any other person to attend.

Or when they say things at odds with what we think about death:
- it's a big drama, I don't understand why he did that (lots of clues that prove that I'm not mentally healthy)
- suicide is not a solution (no it is, sorry)
- It's really sad that he did that (while I'm happy just thinking about dying)
- he would have had his life ahead of him (no, absolutely not, my life is a real massacre).
- And all these things, where even people who would become very intrusive to try to understand why this gesture.

I may tell myself that when I'm dead, I wouldn't care at all, but still, even my death wouldn't be successful.

Yeah, just blame them. They didn't respect your wishes during your life. They're goofballs, and will do what they will

We're just born to a violent, self-destructive species. We see it with global warming. Hundreds of thousands of years ago, there were other humanoid species living alongside us, like the neanderthals. No longer. One theory is we were the most violent, and exterminated them

So, many of them won't be out to make you successful, in life nor death

I rarely received an act of kindness from a person that did not want something in return. I have been abused ad kid, ignored at school, and finally kicked out from my job (my fault here). I will not leave any instructions for my funeral, they can do whatever they want, it will not be my problems anymore as I will be (hopefully) just nothing. Well not that I am that much today.

People can be very selfish and many who are not suicidal themselves will never be able to fully understand what we go through. I guess all that anyone can do is write a note which can explain things that they want others to know, maybe try to give them some understanding. But after all, what happens in life after we die cannot concern us as we simply wont be there at that point but I understand why you would be annoyed at those people.

Thank you for your answers, the more it goes the more I say that I will not leave anything because anyway they will not respect my wishes. I already feel very ashamed about my life, my fear is that they find out what I went through.

I know that anyway, when I'm dead I won't have any control over it but it's just that I have to get used to it, that I integrate this idea. And it's not easy to say that without my entire existence nothing will work.

But in any case, nothing is wrong with humanity. Our history is limited to wars, famines, genocides, epidemics, violence.

It can happen, it can happen... the only thing we can do is to leave a written note with our wishes and hope that these wishes will be fulfilled.
