I literally only listen to video game music so it's hard for me to pick my absolute favorites. Top 10, or even 20 wouldn't even do them Justice. For now I'll just try to share a few of them. I think my absolute favorite part about video game music is how often the same melodies and notes can be changed for different contexts. It feels sort of like people communicating the same thoughts in different languages.
And then there's the cases with more drastic differences but that just makes it even more rewarding once you connect that the themes are ultimately the same despite sounding so different.
