Famous people who've committed suicide

I've read about a lot of them.
I don't know how they've been successful doing that.
I know people that have died that way also.
I don't understand why I haven't been able to ?

Dying is HARD. Very hard. I've lost count of the number of times I've tried but it's over 20. Which is a coincidence at the moment because statistics say only one in 20 attempts are successful, and many people give themselves permanent disabilities from attempting.

I think some people are just lucky in that they have access to methods most people don't, and other people have so suffer incredibly when they kill themselves, like by hanging which is a horribly way to go because you give yourself no way out and if you did you'd back out of it because it's such an awful way to go.

Sometimes it's easier just to live. And it's not a coincidence, society makes it very, very hard to die for various reasons

And they likely didn't get it right in their first shot

I've tried too many times also.
We should discuss this.
I agree with what you say.
It may be easier to live but this suffering is torture.
I wish I had the knowledge and nerve to just do it.
I read about suicides all the time.
I just want it for me.
If I had a gun I know I could shoot myself right in the gut.

Celebrities have easy access to hard drugs. From what I know that's usually how they CTB.

I've researched famous people who have died by suicide. Most didn't have any special means of achieving success. Just the methods we all have access to. Except some used gunshot to the head and I realize some countries don't have access to guns.

I think a lot of times it's OD or they "accidentally" get too drunk or high and conveniently fall off some balcony.

I haven't seen someone mention jonathan Brandis in ages. I'm showing my age because I was a huge fan back in the day. It still makes me sad, but I think part of that is if I remember correctly, he was an only child just like me.

In general for this thread, I agree with those who say celebs just have much easier access to hard drugs that can potentially be more lethal when mixed together and alcohol. Maybe those who hang are just somehow more determined and committed? After all these people are go-getters doing such hard work to make a career for themselves. Maybe they even study it on Sasu too.

A lot of the older celebrities who previously died of OD (accidental or not) had access to stronger drugs that really aren't available anymore. It's just not as easy to do OD as it once was as getting a hold of the strong prescription drugs is much more difficult (at least the ones that are still being made). Many other celebrities have taken their lives via ways that many of us have access to such as jumping, hanging, or guns (well, easily accessible to those living in certain parts of the US and elsewhere). Nothing super elaborate. They suffer just like many of us do and are looking in the same places to find a way out.

Internationally famous sex symbol "BB" (Bébé) aka Brigitte Bardot, who stated in a recent interview before dying that she only cared about "tenderness" not physical sex, had attempted suicide at least six times during her struggles with loneliness and depression despite being surrounded by men since the age of sixteen.

Yeah, there's no special celeb-suicide. Drowning, gassing, hanging, jumping, charcoal.

Death is a great equalizer.
