Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

So I've been reading good bye threads last couple days and I'm wondering: for the ones who try and document (usually sn) do you think their families see/read our comments and theirs? I'm speaking of the ones who seem to pass out. Do you think they close their browser? Or pass out with it open?

It's very upsetting. I failed my SN attempt and was in residential for months after and didn't return for almost a year after. When I came back people had begun speculating that my attempt was fake. It was very hurtful, as that attempt left me with a lot of trauma. To see that people had begun to question if it ever even happened was very painful to see. It's hard to explain why exactly, but when you go through something that traumatic, seeing it be discounted and brushed off is very upsetting.

I think some people let their browsers open or maybe their relatives check their browser history later. It is one of the reasons I am gonna delete/hide somethings and my last visit here will be early on the day or even in the previous day.

I feel like in some sense I'd want people to find mine so they could grasp why I did what I did and understand what I really went through behind closed doors and masks of humour

Yeah because it is basically gaslighting. I can kind of understand why people can have doubts thought. In the online world it's hard to know if you're even dealing with a real person, unfortunately. Or if it's just some crazy person making stuff up. We are all just a bunch of strangers, at the end of the day. Sorry you had to go through this :(
