What was your method? Why did it fail?

i think ive done psh and fsh and realized that my SI were too strong to manage to rlly do it correctly sadly, and recently with SN it was just fear of somehow messing and some SI too which is kinda dumb from my part ngl, i wish i would be more brave for it :/

i od'd five times, the fifth time was my closest. not a reliable method, but it was what i felt i was best at. tried a gun and alcohol too

also planned on using my car but that backfired

The tie broke. Maybe it wasn't great quality. I'm also about 200 lbs

What was your method? Why did it fail?

I didn't prepare, or research. I thought it would be easy. I tried to drown myself in a lake near my house. It's a lake I grew up on. We played a game as children, to go down as far as we could in the middle of the lake, to hit the bottom, and pick up dirt in our toes. So many times as a child, I didn't think I would make it back up to the surface. As a suicidal adult, I thought I could just stay down a few extra minutes...and just not make it back up...
I took lots of olanzapine & went for what I assumed was my last swim. Someone tried to save me. I don't remember this..but I ended up saving someone who tried to save me. They started to drown when trying to save me. So, I saved them. I dont remember any of this.
My number 1 rule is not to hurt anyone else in my quest to leave this world.

Kratom and alcohol. I drank most of a fifth of Jack Daniel's and took a lot of kratom gummies. I ended up unable to stand right or keep liquids down for a day or so. Went to urgent care, got Zofran, and I lied and said I wasn't trying to hurt myself. I'm lucky I didn't end up in the psych ward for the third time in my life. Now that I read through the sticky on this site I know that I was in very little danger--need to find a better method.
