Sharing a method a buddy of mine used to catch the bus.

Cutting/Exsanguination has a bad rep on this forum. Understandable, considering 99% or cutting attempts are actually cries for help, not real attempts.
However, if you know what you are doing and you are sure about your decision, this method is good imo.

It's relatively slow, but if you prefer prolonged action you can control over one and done (hanging), this one is for you.

The main issue with this method is that if you aren't 100% you want this, you most probably chicken out .
If you are sure, this method is pretty peaceful.

What you'll need:

- Numbing gel
A buddy of mine used the one they use in tattoo/cosmetology industry. Lidocaine + Prilocaine. I'm not sure it's strong enough to remove all pain, but it'll remove significant amount of it.
Helps you to remain calm while cutting.

- Blood thinning medications
There are many OTC medications with this effect.
Will help your life juice escape faster. Helps prevent clotting for people with faster coagulation.

- Razor blade

- Wash basin or a tub

- Will power

- Time

How-to:

- Take the meds

- Apply numbing gel on your feet and ankles

- Cut as many veins as you can.
There's a ton of veins all around your feet and ankles. Examining them before starting is a good idea.

- Put your feet inside a tub filled with warm water.
It's better to sit with your legs down in it so the gravity does it's magic.

- Contemplate life and enjoy the exsanguination experience

When the significant amount of blood will be out you'll start experiencing fatigue, dizziness and other symptoms of blood loss. With the right mindset, if you won't panic, the condition you'll find yourself in is relatively comfortable. Shouldn't be long before you'll lose consciousness after this.

If you care about the picture people will see when your body will be found, make sure you are sitting in a good position so once you lose consciousness you won't fall over, spilling blood all over the floor.

Presumably if you can combine this method with a drug which makes you feel no pain?

Probably a bit too gruesome for myself, even though I am a cutter.
But thanks for the share :3

Would sildenafil (viagra) work well enough as a bloodthinner? It's not OTC, in my country. But I'm trans, so I have a prescription for them.

Ehh, not sure there are any pills that'll make the cutting painless hence the numbing gel.
Maybe Opioids can help with making you indifferent to it.

Viagra isn't a blood thinner.
There are many OTC medications like Aspirin and Ibuprofen which slow down the clotting, but things like Warfarin are obviously better

I have considered cutting a bit first, and then when it becomes harder to bleed taking SN, thinking that it could increase the chances of success and peacefulness of SN. Not sure how much blood thinners or warm water affect it, but it's pretty hard to be successful without cutting arteries

But it does widen bloodvessels. I know when it's starting to work, because I get a hue shift in my vision due to the increased bloodflow in my eye balls.
So would they do the trick, or help increase the speed of bleeding out?

Ah, then yes, it may help to speed up the process.

Blood thinners and water aren't necessary, but it's better to use everything available to make the process easier.

Regarding arteries, yes, cutting them up will rapidly speed up the process, but it isn't necessary if you have enough time and you are sure of your decision.
I don't know which meds my friend took before, if any. He cut only one of his feet and put it in the plastic tub. From what I was told, turned out he didn't fill the tub with water, so it is not necessary to succeed. However, warm water will speed up the process by increasing blood flow to your feet.
Drinking alcohol may help with that too.
