And still people believe they live in a free world. What if someone failed suicide attempt but he will have neither insurance nor money? They charge him in court?
"If I didn't have insurance, I would be in over $93K in debt"
So I will be saved against my will and I will experience various torments, then probably go to a psychiatric clinic against my will and will receive for it a debt in the size of 93k $? Are they joking or what? I did not requested me to save and nobody asked me - why should I pay someone? This is a fraud
That really sucks and I'm sorry that you went through shit. I'd say they can't get blood from a turnip and I guess if you don't have the money then they can't take from what you don't have. Now of course, if you have assets like property and stuff, then it is possible that they will go after that. If possible, I would tell them to fuck off and not pay them (especially if you don't have money). Also, yeah most of society thinks that saving someone then treating them like shit along with saddling them with debt would help them, which is simply not true.Ive shelled out 40k in hospital bills from suicide attempts. Plus had a felony and 2 misdemeanors on my record as well from it. I lost jobs, insurance, and a car. And after it was all said and done I was told Id have to pay 900 a month for medicine that might not work and need therapy which would cost me 150 a week. Tell me how saving my life, made me wanna live that much more?
I sometimes wonder if we're not worse than dark middle ages.Ive shelled out 40k in hospital bills from suicide attempts. Plus had a felony and 2 misdemeanors on my record as well from it. N is something people will usually only ever buy once. It's not profitable enough to be worth the risk to manufacturing, or else it would be waaaaaaaay easier to get.We need a chemist, and underground crowdfunded N laboratory.
I meant a crowdfunded N laboratory.... not looking to profit from it... just to paychemist and laboratory people, ....N is something people will usually only ever buy once. It's not profitable enough to be worth the risk to manufacturing, or else it would be waaaaaaaay easier to get.
I dont know if to laugh, cry or get angry. damm... sure hate it if happened to me...This is insane. Over 93k for 9 days, over 10k/day.
Reminds me of a joke:
"There are three type of capitalist:
The 1st capitalist sees you drowning in a river and saves you, then charges you for his services.
The 2nd one offers his help for a fee upfront or will leave you for dead.
The 3rd one threatens to drown you in a river if you don't pay him not to."
Absolutely fucking agree. If the hero decides to play that role, then he/she should bear the burden of paying the enormous bill that the saved person has incurred. It is absolutely disgusting to be helped against one's will, then be held financially responsible for something they didn't even ask for.The government should cover expenses like this I mean there are a lot of people who ctb because of financial problems and then after they survive they get a bill like this on top of their problems seriously fuck the system! And as you already said the person trying to ctb didn´t ask to be saved if anyone should get the bill it should be the "hero" because it´s his fault you would even be alive.
"But but but socialism is bad"When will the US realise that healthcare is a universal human right?
