Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

as the title says!

it's probably the most convenient method except for the gas, as i'm very scared of a lot of other methods. i cannot get the gas as i live at home with my parents and i have no job because i'm physically disabled. i can get other cheaper materials though. i've tried it briefly in the past with just the plastic bags but SI took over. i did end up getting pretty lightheaded though, but not enough to pass out or anything. i'm pretty sure there will be a risk of brain damage at the very least, i don't have to worry about being a vegetable because my parents would not allow that to happen to me.
i have benzodiazepines, albeit a low dose & they dissolve, so i can't take a large amount at one time. i also have seroquel, propranolol, and some edibles. if antiemetics matter i have meto and zofran.
if anyone has any resources for this other than the original exit bag/inert gas megathread, it'd be appreciated. :-)

Exit bag isn't a method, inert gas is. The exit bag is part of the inert gas method.

If you're asking if you can suffocate yourself with an exit bag, I suppose theoretically that's possible but suffocation is pretty unpleasant which is why inert gas is used. No CO buildup so no feeling of suffocation.

I personally don't think anyone would be able to get over the adrenaline and SI from suffocation.

I've been looking around on the exit international site since someone else was talking about it . Ironically I did , not a google search , but duck duck one for an exit bag and it took me to a page they have on it . But when I go to their various menus I can't find it . I can't find any reference to "docs". When I remove the exitbag.pdf from the web address just leaving "docs'' on the end it gives me an error. Perhaps I just haven't found it via their various menus yet. Anyway, here's the link
What do you not like about TiredHorse's thread? I think he lays it out very well and in a simple manor. I had to read it more than once to get the jist of how it works. I know people are always saying go read this megathread or that one. The only parts you need to read are usually the first several pages , or at least until the OP vanishes. After that most megathreads descend into blather. One of the most confusing things here on SS is we have a lot of people talking about all of these masks and different fittings with technical names and , then , on top of that , we have some talking about cubic feet and PSI and then folks in Europe and elsewhere talking liters and bars which is metric. If you're in the US forget any metric figures. Take your time and read TiredHorse's original post as many times as necessary. Good luck out there.
Edit: What quietwoods said to you is 100% truth. Suffocations will totally suck. Take that advice to the bank

So it's possible to do an exit bag method without gas. I'm in the US and I got the (very short) book "Method plastic bag and sleeping pills" (I think it's from a German author but the laws for distribution of the book may be different). But it's literally only about 30 pages long so very simple. The gist of it is that it's an OK method if you have a lot of (depending on which kind but roughly 15x the "normal" dose) and reliable type of sleeping pills (and you won't be disturbed for some time). You also need to have an anti-emetic (anti-puke).

I'm not sure but from the sounds of it you may not have enough meds currently to ensure death vs injury. Can you stock up on more over time?
