Does anyone know if opiates (e.g. a gram of heroin, assuming it's been tested and is decent) would eliminate the hypercapnic reaction of an exit bag?

I'd also take a lot of benzos. The timing would be important, but before I start thinking about that, is there anything wrong with this method?

In the PPH, it says benzos + an exit bag was recommended for a while, but no longer. No mention of adding opiates.

A gram of heroin would kill an elephant, surely?

I don't believe it is reliable, as per the PPH. I'm also not sure of administering that much at once even being feasible. Taking a lot though, would it be enough to prevent the hypercapnic "air starvation" feeling in the presence of CO2?
