Method Erotic-asphyxiation?

In the event, or for whatever reason that I am unable to acquire a firearm (which is highly unlikely), an alternative method that I have considered is hanging, but with some modifications. Personally, I'm not into erotic-asphyxiation, but instead of the old fashioned hanging whether partial/full, would this be even more convincing to commit suicide without making it actually about suicide? (In other words - if failed, it can be written off as trying to masturbate instead of really suiciding? If one succeeds, it could look like an accident.)

My idea is to have porn or whatever one gets off to and then have that around while attempting to hang oneself and trying to get high, and if successful then one is dead and if failed, then it wouldn't be considered an actual suicide. What are your thoughts on this method?

They may, but then it would lessen the shame and guilt of "I could have prevented him/her from taking his/her life" mentality. It seems like a difference between the bullshit pity of "I could have done something" versus "Ew he's a pervert" mentality. Also, it would be pretty much irrelevant what they thought of at that point as I would be dead. This would be an alternative method if for some reason I couldn't use a firearm to off myself.
