• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I have a bunch off easily accessable electric towers that have each 120kVolts. Would that be a great idea to climb up them at night? Would it be instantaneous and painless? I guess the arc would flash before I get to the top and that's instant lights out. And the fall would be fatal as well. I also have easily climbable 20kV poles. What's the pain scale and is it a good way?

I watched a lot of electrocution videos on 4chan and it seemed like death is instant. It's messy and gross because your body will probably catch fire if you are connected to the electricity for a prolonged duration but i also saw a bunch of videos where someone climbs a power pole touches the cable and is falls down and is dead.

So, should I do it? Is it a good idea?

I don't think that's guaranteed to work. You might end up with burns and then fall and break your bones.
