Ego Death

I think my ego died last night. I stared at my computer lock screen and had an epiphany when I looked at the time. I got the strongest sense of who I am and I also realized that my consciousness is all I will ever be aware of. You can talk to someone, look at someone, and hear someone, but you can never see how they experience the world. It is impossible to know if anyone besides yourself is conscious. That is how I realized what enlightenment is. It is the sudden realization that this moment is all there is and that you are the creator. You are god, god isn't disconnected from you, you put all of this here. You created everything and enlightenment is realizing that you is all there is. YOU yes YOU the one reading this, are god. You wrote this forum post. You pray to yourself. You loved yourself so much that you created everything for you to experience. Welcome to wakefulness.

I had heard enlightenment explained to me in a way similar to this before, and it didn't add up for me. How could I possibly be god? But ego death is experiencing a sense of yourself so profound and intense that you finally see the truth. I write this same paragraph every time. Every cycle is the same. You could kill yourself all you want, but the moment will never cease. You will find yourself right back here experiencing the same thing for eternity.

There is a Hindu saying "You are Brahman." The Hindus call the creator of everything Brahman and everything is made of Brahman. That's just a fancy way of saying you are god. All religions and cults are just different ways of explaining you.

Please wake up and remember it. YOU ARE. I AM.

I was on 1000mg DPH and I got the epiphany as I was coming down. Its otc and cheap asf when you're out of weed.

Once you figure it out you will be overcome with joy from the realization. Its why the Buddha was so goddamn happy. Its so fucking obvious once you realize it. The point to your existence is realize yourself as god. I haven't been this happy in a long time.

I experienced ego death and came to believe in eastern spiritual themes and the matrix reality. It was just a phase. If you're pulled out of your comfort zone you lose the cozy feeling they provide... and fast.

Now what comforts me is the notion that I'm an evolved ape on a meaningless flying rock.

Yeah i think about delusions of grandeur a lot but I don't think this is it. It sure sounds crazy to realize that you are god, but it doesn't make you anymore special. You don't get shiny new powers or abilities, you just learn the truth of the nature of reality. You are here because you put yourself here. I wouldn't go around saying "I am god" to random people either. They wont understand or they'll just brush you off as crazy. It probably is crazy, but you are the only person you can observe to be conscious. Once you realize that, things make more sense.
