Portugal declared the "emergency state" this afternoon. The measures they are going to take along with it sound soft for now. But tommorow it will be better know how far they are gonna go with this. ~450 people infected so far, 2 deaths (both old people). The rest are recovering.

They may be heading toward martial law. Over a virus that kills less people than the flu, and mainly kills the old and infirm because it can develop into pneumonia. The hyperbolic response of governments to this outbreak is astounding.

BTW, artial law in the US was imposed to put Japanese Americans in internment camps.
