Dying in the desert alone

I have read that death in the desert will be in less than 3 days. The first day you will get a headache because of the strong sun, lack of concentration and pain in your body and stomach. The second day will be easier because you will get delirium, lack of focus and lack of feeling. The third day is the day you lose consciousness and die. Is there incomplete information here?
