• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

From reading a few articles it appears Dutch police seized papers, computers and a non functioning Sarco prototype at the request of Swiss authorities. If this goes to prosecution or litigation (including appeals), it might be 1 to 3+ years before the next use of the Sarco (assuming we ultimately prevail).

Fucking disgusting, but it's to be expected. I don't think this bodes well for Sarco or the progress toward a real Right to Die. This world just won't let people do as they wish with their own lives without being dragged kicking and screaming. This is an example of kicking and screaming. I wouldn't even be surprised if Sarco is shelved indefinitely atp, as this could be the powder keg moment that triggers these governments to go after Nitschke.

I also love how lazily this article was written. They'll shove the suicide prevention bullshit in your face before the article even starts, but they can't even bother to spell Nitschke's name correctly on the second mention. Great proofreading job there, nltimes. But I do respect their description of Exit International: "Exit International is Nitsche's movement. It has around 30,000 members and fights for self-determination in ending your life." That's a fair and honest assessment. No fear mongering, no lies, just an unbiased description.

This is horrible. What an evil world. Another reason to kill myself asap. I hope they don't arrest PN.

Pn discoverd SN, had reliable online Nembutal sources for 15+ years

PN Invented sarco etc . He could have made money other ways. He chose to help the suffering .

They arrested D from N from D , Kenneth Law, dr Kevorkian anyone that is willing to help people escape extreme torture

What the hell is wrong with these oppressive morons? We all will die anyway but they don't want us to be able to escape extreme suffering

They should mind their own business
And this is in the 2 countries that supposedly give some the right to die Switzerland and Netherlands. Bs they are saying we are the masters of ur own
body not u, we own u. Only we decide when or if u can get out

Oh wow, I didn't know that. This does not bode well for getting this quickly dismissed. ☹️

3 years might be generous.

The police will fully investigate the case to determine all the legally relevant facts and gather all the supporting evidence. Hopefully when the prosecutor reviews everything, they will decide no crime has been committed and no charges will be filed. That could all be done within weeks after incident.

One week down… 🍿

(No, I am not a Swiss lawyer, process and time estimates are based upon what I've observed for US federal courts when dealing with novel legal issues.)
