Sorry I am just speculating. This is one of my methods. Just thinking how I could ease the suffering.
OP for the record I've heard that once the initial panic subsides (which should be reduced by the alcohol) drowning is amongst the most peaceful ways to die.
sorry for your dad, thats so bad...
do you think water drowning isnt that bad? asphixia in general is scary to me because i tried exit bag with nothing and the suffocation felt like shit, really bad. had to tear the bag
THIS IS A MUST! USE ANTIEMETICS TO PREVENT PUKING!
I recommend Hydroxyzine, because it's easy to get it prescribed and is very effective. It's also a sedative. I recommend 150mg 10 mins before you fall in.
Use barbiturates or benzos along with the alcohol. Sit on the edge; don't jump in. Wait until you pass out into the water. I recommend FILLING your lungs as much as you can with nitrous oxide, and holding it as long as you can.
This will not only dissociate you from what's going on, but also will prevent you from feeling any panic or suffocation whatsoever, since nitrous oxide is an inert gas. Nitrous oxide is an NMDA antagonist, so it'll make alcohol stronger, too.
Once you exhale involuntarily, you'll be on your own (well, with the Hydroxyzine and alcohol and benzodiazepines/barbiturates to help.)
i almost drowned when i was about 4... in a pool when my circle float turned upside down with my legs in the air... apparently my mom was distracted (she said) and jumped in to save me (okay she is my mom so i can't blame her)... but i do remember my lungs only hurt for a minute ish, not excruciating pain but extremely uncomfortable then it changed... the edges of my vision turned black then my whole vision went dark, i felt peaceful but then my mom pulled me out.
I've looked at a lot of water related ctb...
dehydration, hypothermia in cold river, drunk in bathtub...
frankly i like the idea...
but not the ocean with scary sharks that could bite off a limb before i'm even dead completely freaks me out...
Aren't you scared of the sharks? if you still do it in the ocean, i hope at least somehow be in something like a cage where creatures don't tear off your body?
