Is it possible to partially hang yourself with a ligature tied to the door knob then slammed through to the other side of the door with the door shut. Is it worth trying or a waste of time.

In theory, yes it is possible. The question is finding the point to properly compress the carotids.

Yes, this is how I did my partial and it worked. I passed out within seconds. I woke dazed and the silk bathrobe rope I used was mysteriously untied. I'm not sure if I did it or it the knot just came unloose but it still knocked me out.
