Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I'm not sure what to do. My parents are probably getting a divorce soon and I just couldn't hold it in anymore and bursted out crying in school. I talked with school psychologist and told her everything, I regret it so much now.. She called my dad, told him everything and now he's worried and everything including my mom.. I wanted to try hanging myself soon but now I feel like they'll blame themselves for it. I have my own reasons and it doesn't include the divorce. I'm actually happy that they're taking a divorce, I'm sick of them pretending. Any ideas what should I do, maybe I should wait until they figure it out..

It really depends.

I'm not sure what your folks are like, but it's likely you'll get put somewhere 'safe' if somebody in your circle decides you´re a danger to yourself. In which case it's best to not talk about it too much. I've read about my people who have involuntarily gone to the 'wards' and it never really seems like a nice place to be. As long as you're calm and collected, there shouldn't be reason to put yourself through that.

If you truly have your reasons, and you are certain you want to go through with such a final decision, you can write a note explaining your feelings. Just promise me that you won't act on impulse. That would suck, and likely be a regretable decision.

Before any of that though I'd suggest trying to talk to them about everything you feel. Just keep the CTB part out of it, I guess.

Thank, I guess I'll have to try but honestly it's so hard to talk to my parents. Sometimes they're so stupid it just hurts my brain lol. The note might be the right choice.

Hah, I can relate to that. But you have to cut them some slack - our predicaments are tough to understand.

Just meditate on this for as long as you can. They might end up blaming themselves either way, no matter what you tell them. People have their own brains and like to make their own narratives, whatever the outside world says.

Again; please don't act on an impulse. I've promised myself as long as I have food, drink and a roof I can feel shitty and useless and think on the decision. If all else falls away, the rope is neatly tucked and ready to go anyway.

Thanks, that helped a lot. I'm trying to understand them and the whole situation from their perspective but I guess love can be blind, that's one thing I don't understand lol. I definitely won't act on impulse. I'll think everything through carefully.
