If I factor in what he wrote to me and how determined he seemed to leave this realm, I would see it as a "success" if he is not to be seen in roughly the next 6 weeks. There are always things that might go wrong and he was in a booked room, maybe something went wrong, maybe he did weird noises, maybe someone got alerted and he was "saved". If that is the case he cant talk himself out of the obvious suicide intention, thus he would be put into hospital and depending on how strict they are he might not get access to the internet for weeks. Again, that is the worst case but my explanation why I am giving this ~ 6 week buffer before we jump to any final verdict.
Although my gut feeling says yes, he pulled through with it and made it. He was determined, disciplined and impressively prepared. But I dont want to indulge in any speculations, one way or another. And in the end he might even changed his mind and might be alive and might never come back here. It is hard to tell. News not covering suicides doesnt help either.
