So is it like a violent method would take you to hell and a peaceful one to heaven, if at all they exist.

I'm not sure.. that's a good question :) The thought that one would go to hell where another one would go to heaven is a saddening thought. I know where I belong, but besides that, it's hard to believe that one WOULD go to hell for ctb. I'm not a religious person, so that's why I'm ignorant. I just know that god wouldn't want us to suffer (I do believe in god, though I'm not religious)
If that makes sense, it's too early in the morning where I am :haha: :hihi:

I personally believe that, in the afterlife, I will be in a neutral dimension waiting until my next reincarnation. As a pagan I take seriously the believing in a afterlife and my spirit guide tells me that every soul creates his/her own heaven or hell as their karma reflects it. She told me there's no punishment for suicidals, and everyone rests in a dimension of mixed feelings that may change since the lifestyle and actions they did.
Perhaps: a murder-suicide will bring a LOT of bad karma and your afterlife will be more difficult to achieve the next reincarnation since you must pay for the Justice claim of that innocent people involved in the act.
And I think the method isn't relevant to determine if you're going to hell or not. If the Christianity are true (Thing I doubt, whatever) in every suicide we'll going to hell and there's no difference if we use a gun, a rope or jumping.
But I had some visions of the souls who CTB and their "ghosts" in the afterlife will carry a mark of his/her method and they are aware of it.
I don't fear any hell for my CTB.

I would find a theory like that very hard to believe.
Otherwise it might suggest people who can't afford to arrange a peaceful method are going to be punished in the afterlife, which I find very hard to believe.
I suppose if you choose a method that has greater impact on others, then there could be some karma associated with that, although if you did the best you could then it would probably be limited.
I don't believe in a "hell".
I just believe in different states and levels of being, and different levels of "debt" that might need to be repaid.

None of us know what awaits after death is it eternal sleep with nothing or the after life does exist I personally don't believe in hell in the afterlife as I think we are already in hell on this plane. If heaven is real I bet its a beautiful peaceful place at least that's my hope.

I don't believe in an afterlife personally, but as far as methods are concerned, I choose the one that is most reliable, least painful, and easiest for me to access. The method that meets that criteria for me happens to be a firearm. As for your question, I think the answer will vary depending on your beliefs so I cannot give you an exact answer. :notsure:

I'm not religious, and also I just don't really care. But ultimately god would want you to be happy and not live in sadness. So if you genuinely think suicide is best for you then God would be okay with that.

I am a spiritualist, I believe in something after this world but I do not believe in heaven or hell, I believe in a world that exists between us and death, I believe we do not become angel's instead we are guided through the next world by angels,
Heaven and Hell to me is to set to be able to exist, who defines what is wrong and right in this world, I agree some wrongs seriously are wrong, Murder etc, BUT smaller mistakes, where do they sit on the scale of purity and evil

Suicide is done via a persons pain and wish to no longer exist, to some this is purity, to something is evil, so who decides whether you end up in heaven or hell? This is why my beliefs lead me to know there is a world in between were eternal peace is for all regardless

If people who die violently go to some kind of worse place ... that's an awful lot of people. War, natural disasters, accidents of various kinds, crime victims — why should they all be punished?? And if they wouldn't be, why would an exception be made for suicides?

Of course, the afterlife isn't required to make sense or comply with my shoulds and shouldn'ts, so ... we don't know, and there's not much we can do about it.

I believe there is an afterlife and if hell exists I'm sure I won't be going there. I'm a very kind and considerate person.. I don't deserve to be punished alongside rapists and murderers just because I ended my experience on earth.

I honestly don't believe in any sort of afterlife.

The lights go out and you stop existing. I might be wrong, but I hope I'm not.

According to most religions since I'm not baptized I go to some type of purgatory. I'm a big fan of Dante so that's not bad. But I also believe in reincarnation. Just hope the next life is better
