I don't really know if it works to be honest. I always need a few times to get through with it and my belts were taken away from me. But it is pretty difficult since sometimes you are not able to tie it hard enough and SI is there too...

I tried this a few times in my teenage years. Never worked.

I tried on door knob and wouldnt work. Too low and door knob to weak. And interior door was too thin/weak.

Then I tried a knot in tip as an anchor and closed the door on it. And worked better for me.

Then trying to find where to put the buckle. Lots of times it was gagging and cutting off air which isn't good or easy going.

Every now and then would find sweet spot. I was doing partial

I don't know about strangling alone.

That and would hard to keep tension on the belt.
