I live in Canada and it's winter time so there would be no flowers growing here but I was wondering if I coukd grow any or obtain any flower that's poisonous and make it into a tea, to drink.

There aren't any poisonous plants in Canada, toxic enough, especially in the winter. People in the tropical countries have more access to these. Poisons result in painful and slow torture to the body, and you would be very very miserable in your last hours, so you might wanna drop this idea.

I think I've gotten past being scared of dying painful, as long as it's quick

Plant based poisons are never quick as the organic toxins in them take time to interact with physiology of the body. You might feel like you can overcome the pain, but the survival instinct will make you feel like an eternity in sheer pain as long as you are alive after ingesting them. Moreover, you haven't had exposure to poisons so you don't know what it feels like. You should really look at other peaceful ways. Don't punish yourself unnecessarily. Pay special attention to what or why you are doing this otherwise a failed attempt will leave you worse than before. Do not succumb to rash decisions. There are always other options.

To be honest, there isn't any method which can guarantee a fail proof, convenient and painless death. It definitely takes a lot of will power to force your body go through this. I just noticed that you are 18 years of age and you haven't shared anywhere why you are thinking of such drastic steps in life. In Canada, you can easily get a lot of resources to help you resolve any issues you might be facing. I can personally help if you need guidance in that direction.

Just because we have resources here doesn't mean they're helpful. We rank the lowest for mental health and health care, do you know why? Because our system is shit.

Probably you haven't been able to connect to the right resource. Canada is definitely up there in decent enough physical and mental healthcare. At the young age of 18, with hardly any family to guide I'm not sure how much time have you had to get the helpful advice. I also don't know where in Canada you are, but there are tons of free and proper guidance to teenagers, which includes life coaching and psychotherapy. Again, I don't know your reasons to do this, you might have had something traumatic in your life, but if not, and if you have no diagnosed mental or physical condition then kindly understand that in teens the raging hormones can mess up the thought process. I and many others in here can help you resolve whatever you are going through and provide you with alternatives. Here, we care for each member without judging.

No thank you. Not interested in prevention. Just because I'm eighteen doesn't make me ignorant to health care system, I had first hand experience.

You can order wolfsbane (acontinite?) flowers from a wedding website or some garden sites. It's SUPER deadly, death in 4 hours.

aconite aka monkshood ;)

"The flower's name proper is derived from the Greek ἀκόνιτον, meaning 'without struggle', while toxins extracted from the flower were historically used to kill wolves, lending itself to its more popular title of 'Wolfsbane'."

It needs to be mentioned how torturous this poisoning is... it starts with tingling and pricking feeling in the skin, like ants crawling under your skin, perspiration and nausea, then you'll get violently ill with severe vomiting, intense and sharp pain in the abdomen with diarrhea, acute pain in the muscles leading to paralysis, so you won't be able to move. You'll go blind, skin becomes cold and numb and will have difficulty breathing and your heart will literally go crazy beating itself and getting headache will be the least of your headache because you'll start disorienting but you'll remain conscious and in those last 4 hours of your life you'll know pain that you had never known in your whole life. Definitely not the way to go.

This is the truth. I concur. Plant poisoning is very nasty. A while back I did a lot of research on this subject. Please stay away from plant poison!

Currently I am exploring other alternatives:

1. Fentanyl patches (which is my preferred method)
2. Partial suspension hanging / Night-night method (which is my most likely method)
3. SN (which is also very interesting)

Out of curiosity, why choose hanging over SN?

Datura can be fatal if you take enough. But it also causes nightmare hallucinations and delirium, like seeing spiders everywhere and you talking to people that aren't there. Lots of dumb people try to trip off it and end up dying.

It is the only lethal flower I have heard about.

If you don't die from it there is a good chance of permanent terrible visual snow, so much that you are pretty much legally blind.

Poisonous plant seeds are quite readily available but it doesn't seem to me to be a peaceful, painless way to go. I looked a few years ago and I could find seeds for hemlock, wolfsbane, monkshood etc. online.

I imagine you would feel sicker than you've ever felt and in a lot of pain, but that's just a guess really. I read that hemlock causes you to suffocate, so you'd be gasping for breathe, drowning without water.
