Does anyone else prefer no sleep to a couple hours of it?

For some reason sleep during the day is way more recharging than sleep at night. One hour nap during the day is like sleeping four hours at night. Sleep is the best. Well death might be better.
Lack of or inability to sleep is the lament of so many here and for me personally it has driven me to near madness sometimes and alas I've learned to accept this version of myself that has to function on f*** all sleep.
I always said you can sleep when you're dead but having no sleep will make you wish you were dead...
In answer to your question, I'll take sleep over no sleep anytime, even if it's just 10 minutes.
I miss those days when I was able to sleep for 9-11 hours. Insomnia sucks, stupid doctors won't even give benzos or any other helpful medicine. "Just drink chamomile tea, valerian root, passionflower and other weak herbs that don't do shit'
Lately i'm awake for 48-72 hours or so straight, then i crash for a few hours (not enough hours) then i'm up again for another unnaturally long spate of time.
But i would rather stay up days than have an hour's sleep here or there…
However it's not a choice. I can't sleep. :( It's around 2:30am here…
I just need any sleep. It's the only thing that I look forward too, death is like a premium version of sleep, as we never wake up and have no dreams/nightmares. When I cannot sleep I feel so much worse. I would take a couple of hours just to have a break from living.
