• Hey Guest,

An update on the OFCOM situation: As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. OFCOM, the UK’s communications regulator, has singled out our community, demanding compliance with their Online Safety Act despite our minimal UK presence. This is a blatant overreach, and they have been sending letters pressuring us to comply with their censorship agenda.

Our platform is already blocked by many UK ISPs, yet they continue their attempts to stifle free speech. Standing up to this kind of regulatory overreach requires lots of resources to maintain our infrastructure and fight back against these unjust demands. If you value our community and want to support us during this time, we would greatly appreciate any and all donations.

What is your special needs?

I have too many to list but the worst one is I got a throat problem so it takes me forever to eat so I can´t go to school or work since the launch break is too short.

Injury to the brain that no one understands in my immediate family and none will take the time to understand. So special needs? Yup.

My special needs: A new brain, ha! But more importantly, support and help.

oh I mean learning disabilities like autism,ADHD,dysleixa, dyspraxia. The sort of things that get you bullied as a child then leads to isolation in adulthood.

Yes, I have ADHD and Dyscalculia, and a few other things. Took them forever to figure out that I should be tested for a LD. School was a colossal bitch.

Well I have Aspergers Syndrome but my childhood was paradise on Earth, but I was very embarrassed by my tiny wrists my first crush even pointed it out how small they were when we played cops and robbers and she had to cuff me I even knew beforehand that she would notice and I still got tiny wrists they´re only 13.5cm. Also I am colorblind so I was very embarrassed by that as a child I didn´t get bullied for it though but still I was so embarrassed you wouldn´t believe like when we had to mix colors to make another one I sat close to my friends and brother to whisper for which is which to get it right and even ditched class one time because of it. And when we had English class (second language) like in 3rd grade our teacher would gather us in a circle and then we would have to tell what color our clothes were, I was always good at English so no problem to pronounce the colors but I would purposely wear plain color clothes like blue jeans with a red shirt with nothing on it in case she would ask what the other colors were and I would practice it at home the day before English class. I was very insecure about being colorblind but now I am not embarrassed by it but as a child I were afraid people would make fun of me if they found out. The thing is I actually can see regular colors fine like the colors of A4 papers when it´s just plain red, plain, pink, blue, green etc. it´s when the nuances change to darker or lighter it gets hard.

You didn´t specify it was about learning disabilities because trust me my throat problem has ruined my life and cost me everything, I can´t go to school, get a job and have lost all my friends. But for the Aspergers it only seemed to have had a huge impact as an adult since I am 26 but in a lot of ways still feel like I am 16-17 while I see people I used to know get older and become my responsible but I feel like I´m still in that rebellious phase.

We all have special needs. Some get more in the way of mainstream goals than others, but we all have them.

If anything, my special needs are that my adult sister's special needs brings me and my family a lot of stress. She's nonverbal autistic so she has lots of bad habits that we can't force her out of because communication isn't very effective with her. Recently she started wetting the bed every night on purpose because she just decided she likes it that way. It's immensely frustrating to deal with.

Aspergers/High Functioning Autism here. Wasn't diagnosed until I reached adulthood due to a mix of people not understanding the signs and me being a girl (I guess there was or is a rumor that females can't have autism?), so growing up was pretty shit.

I was diagnosed with PDD-NOS, but nowadays I just say I'm autistic. Also later in life, which meant lots of trouble growing up and lots of trouble with depression and anxiety. I do not 'look' autistic, if that's even a thing. Which has benefits and downsides at the same time I think. I also have fibromyalgia. In short; I'm way too sensitive for this world. And I'm in pain all the time. I hate it.

Undiagnosed, but on the spectrum of autism. Therapist offered me to speak to someone who could diagnose me, but I avoided out of fear.
