Does anyone else hate summer?

I hate summertime. Always have. Hot weather just feels gross and chaotic. People everywhere. Bugs. I hate it all. My idea of a "vacation" isn't a sunny beach. Paradise to me is a cool and breezy autumn in the hills somewhere with fall colors all around. Or in some snowy wintery mountains with a starry night winter sky. I'm at peace when it's cold and dark. I wish I could live in a loop of just fall and winter.

I hate summer so much. As soon as fall rolls around, my mood improves. A nice bracing wind with trees swaying and the cosiness that comes with cooler weather. Rain showers and good movies, chilling on the couch with yummy food. One of the few things I genuinely enjoy still.

I hate everything above 20 Degree Celcius. I'm not made for the heat, prevents me from sleeping, my feet get really hot because my blood flow slow.
I really can't understand how anyone can enjoy summer.
Besides heat/humidity I hear the birds outside my window 24/7, mosquitos everywhere and bright day light until it's nearly night time. If there is one season that really makes me depressed it's gotta be summer.

The last few days have been awful, above 20 degrees and people everywhere. I forget how much of a pain summer is until it actually rolls around.

I also need the feeling of having a blanket cover me, otherwise I can't fall asleep. Even with the thinnest one, I'm too hot. I can't sleep with one, but I can't sleep without one either. What the hell is this curse!!?

Ugh, summertime is horrible. The heat makes me nauseous, the bugs are everywhere. I prefer the frigid dark of winter.

I'm a summer hater too, mostly for a lot of the same reasons that others have mentioned - the bugs, humidity and heat, and more people around when I'm outside. This year in particular, the storms have been a lot worse than normal. Thunderstorms were always the one thing I always kind of liked from the summer season since the sound of thunder can be relaxing and lightning is fun to watch from a safe distance, but this year they've been causing power outages and floods in places that don't normally deal with that much and not having power sucks when it's hot out.

Thankfully the Fall season is here so the weather has been a lot better for the most part. I'm not looking forward to winter, but that's only because I hate having to drive on snowy or icy roads. Perhaps if I had the luxury to stay home and only go out when I wanted to, I would actually love winter, but sadly that is not the case for me.

Yes i do! From all points of view. I don't like heat and on the other hand all that noise and all the happy people that party, go on vacations etc etc, just depress me so much. This season is in a total contradiction with how my mental state is. I like autumn

I wish it was eternal summer. I love light, warm, plants, etc.

I love going for walks at 10pm in the forests and still see clearly. I love when there's no snow, wetness or leaves on ground to hinder my journey. I love the sound of springs (the water) and I love walking by them. I love the flowers etc.

I love being able to wear what I want. I love when I don't have to wear hats or gloves or scarves. (though scarves hide rope marks nicely).

During summer it's usually only 15-25 Celsius. Not too hot. Though nowadays it might be even 30.

The only thing I hate about summer is that everything is closed and I hate how everyone has their summer holidays on different weeks. Like if you wanna get a haircut. 1/3 of hairdressers have their holiday on June, 1/3 on July, 1/3 on August. And at workplaces. My brother had to get help from both his boss and his seniour coworker, but first the boss was on holiday, when the boss came back the senior left, when the senior came back , it was bro's time to have holiday. And what's worse is that some people do the "I'm on holiday from June 20th to July 3rd. Then I come back and work from July 4th to July 15th. The I'm on holiday from July 16th to August 1st.". A lot of people do that actually.

I hate everything about winter except for playing with my dog. My dog loved snow. She had a thick fur and would lie outside all day even during the winter and I'd get worried that she might get cold, but she never did. I'd throw her snowballs and she'd catch them with her mouth. When the first snow rained she'd always get excited and run around the yard.

Well, maybe it could a short winter every year wouldn't hurt. I want my dog to be happy.

I actually kinda like summer because it's the season where thunderstorms happen here and because light lasts long, sunset is around 9pm which is good because I hate darkness. I dislike the hot weather though.

I dislike winter the most. I hate the cold can't even stand it, I hate snow which makes impossible for me to walk (I actually become even more depressed when it snows), the short days, the wind, everything's wet. The only reason I could like it is because of Christmas and New Year Eve, those times in the year where drinking becomes acceptable so I won't get annoyed with the ''Omg AverageFanEnjoyer stop drinking it's bad for your health and you'll become addicted''. I understand bitch, I'm already addicted and I still drink. Now leave me alone.

I love summer (hence my screen name). This past summer was great - most days above 115°F and above 110°F in Phoenix. I especially love summer nights in Key West, Florida.

It took me a long time, but I finally escaped the cold wet weather - never going back :)
