  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

Peculiar behaviour?:haha: They asked you to tell them in your own words they didn't specify verbally! Lol!
Doesnt surprise me one bit.
quetiapine can it treat depression ?
I think sometimes it is used. They prescribed it to me as a mood stabilizer for bipolar disorder. I'm not sure if it's something that they prescribe for depression unless the usual stuff doesn't work. It doesn't seem to be working particularly well for me any more. It seemed to be fantastic for my when I was first prescribed it.

Don't blame the doctor, she was doing her job. If she knew you were going to kick the bucket and did nothing it would mean the end of her own career or life depending on how she views her own profession.

Just don't start telling her your plans for the sake of others at least!

Was at my psych office last week and told her how I had been a step away from CTB. She asked if I had a plan and I said yes and method too. Asked what was stopping me and I said deciding on a time and place. She said "do you need to be admitted to a hospital" and I said no, that going to a hospital doesn't do any good and creates more problems. Then she said "do I need to call 911" as if she was actually going to do it. Long story short, I reassured her I was safe. But it pissed me off that she was about to threaten to call 911. What the hell is calling 911 supposed to accomplish? When police are called about a mentally ill suicidal person, the person usually ends up shot dead. The police don't know how to handle that. Were they going to haul me off in a squad car to a local hospital to be forcefully admitted? And then what? That makes everything else in my life worse. As if I wouldn't just drive off and go CtB somewhere away from people. Threatening to call 911 is just a bad practice psychiatrists and NP use to coerce patients. All it did was make me lie. So why do that to people?
Pff... psychiatrist can't handle this and wants to call 911 to let them make you want to live this life? Such an absurd. They just want patient to fit into their system, why not to listen first and make the environment that fits better for patient? I mean, if someone suffers by any reason and wants to end his life, he may or may not change his mind, but at least they could make it less painful emotionally or physically whether the patient wants to CTB or not. They say they will help and then just make it more stressful.

I wish I could just be honest 100% with a medical professional. Such a pain I have to lie about ctb and severity of problems.
