Discussion Do you want to CTB in daytime or at night?

I have no other option than to CTB at night-time under cover of darkness because I live with others.

I think I'm not gonna have a whole lot of choice either as I also live with others, but I think I'd prefer to do it during the day when everyone's out or just go do it in the woods as opposed to doing it when everyone's asleep. Not sure why I feel this way though, I guess I feel like it's more of a sure thing than risking making noise and waking someone

I live alone, but I still think I'll have a longer time before being found if I do it at night. The earliest I could possibly be found is the next afternoon.

I would probably go during night time as it's the most quietest time of the night and also, under the cover of darkness, CTB'ing would be easier and less likely to get discovered until well after death.

I'm planning to CTB out in the woods , so it will be just before dark.
I need enough daylight to park and then find a secluded spot before dark - and that will also ensure that any other people out hiking or snowmobiling will be gone for the day.
I will CTB just as the sun is setting so that I pass out before dark - don't want to be cold and alone... and awake … out there in the dark.

If I were to go the way I want to (in nature by water), it would be during the day. However since I am going to have to go with a hotel, I will be doing it at night (I'm going to have to make up a lie about going to stay with a friend so hopefully by night the lie will be seeded).

I think I'd prefer leaving in the evening, if possible a summer evening. It'll most probably happen in the darkest hours after midnight, though. Or maybe there will be a full moon? That would be quite lovely too, actually.

I'm OK dying in the woods in the dark - just not too keen on being alive in the woods in the dark.
Not dying, and waking up alone, sick and cold in the middle of nowhere is the only part of my plan that scares me.

But, as vast as our back country is around here, so is the number of people who regularly get out to enjoy it and I just can't risk being spotted and 'saved'

I've always been partial to the night so definitely nighttime. It's also the easiest way for me to not get found dying since they'll just think I'm sleeping like normal.
