Do you want to be remembered when your gone?

Title is pretty straightforward, but anyway earlier I was feeling anxious that people will eventually forget about me when I'm gone, and it occured to me that others might be feeling the same way. I know this sounds weird but if you want i can write down and recite your username every night before bed so that your never forgotten. And if you want you can ask for a song (song name + artist) that you want to be remembered by? The song is just a suggestion since i see people wanting to be remembered by songs. If you dont want a song you can ask for a poem or just some last words.

the formatting will look something like -> username + song/poem/last words
(you can have all three if you want! or none at all. up to you! :]

again, apologies if this comes off as creepy, just trying to provide some solace to those who need it <3

Aslong as i posotively impacted a bunch of peoples lives I think I could rest in peace and be satisfied.

I have mixed feelings really. It would be nice if some people remember me in a kind way. I guess we all like to be well thought of. Still, I also accept that memories will fade. Plus, it's good they do in a way. It's no fun really grieving for someone your whole life. I've spent 40+ years grieving after family members. I think it's healthier to grieve but then move on.

The memory of all of us will die sooner or later. The only question is when will that happen?
Honestly, how many figures throughout history does the average person remember? Not many.
We often learn about great generals, but we don't know the names of most of the soldiers who fought in the same battles.

Your mother, father, brother, sister, etc. will always remember you, but they, too, will die at some point. Unfortunately, each of us has to accept that in the grand scheme of things, our lives don't make much sense.

So to answer the question: No, I don't care about people remembering me.

Being remembered for who or what I am isn't really that important to me. What I am isn't worth remembering - not even by me. But I would like to be remembered for what I believed in, and the things I loved. I'm afraid of the things I stood for being forgotten. All I ever wanted to see in this world was something greater than what it is.

That's very cute, proud to say I also listen to ghost and pals! Proud to also say that the 'y' in honey came out very perfect and fancy compared to the other letters i wrote! (thats an accomplishment considering my handwriting looks like that of a kindergartners lol)

I don't have much else to add, I really resonate with most everything you said. I think i was really desperate in wanting to be remembered when I made this post but now I feel more and more content with whether or not I'm remembered, I agree with your last point - it is healthier to grieve and then move on. I'd appreciate it if people cared enough about me to grieve, but I dont want them to be absolutely devastated about it (especially not for a long time)
