If we were givin a legal, painless way to go out that let us go with a shred of dignity, I might view it that way. But given the drastic measures we're forced to take, it's impossible for me to view it as "beautiful".
The vast majority of people view suicide as dark/disturbing. The general response to someone who has committed suicide is sorrow and regret, for example, that said person had such a bright future ahead of them. I especially hate the "permanent solution to a temporary problem" response, as it disregards the many people w/ chronic illnesses, disabilities, & other disorders..
I find it interesting that the general population views death as the worst possible outcome, when that is far from the truth. If forced to choose between constant torment & suffering v. an unknown that at the very least offers the chance of relief, who wouldn't choose the latter? Many people would argue that death is the lack of existence, which by nature would be neutral.
I also think that suicide is commonly seen as the enemy, when really it is a way out for many. Imagine being unable to die.. with no end to the amount of pain possible for a human to endure, life would be inescapable. I believe that people disregard the suffering with which one had been afflicted, and focus solely on the tragedy of the death.
I see it as deliberate creation. That's how "Abraham" describes it in so many of her (Esther Hicks) videos.
Abraham explains through Esther that ALL death is suicide because we create our own reality.
Some people are just more deliberate about it than others.

It certainly can be. In the same way life can be beautiful, so can death.
The two coexist with each other as equals and balance each other out. Neither would be able to function without the other.
All life from this planet is birthed from death. All that is dead is a result of having life lived.
Suicide in-itself isn't inherently ugly or beautiful.
Yet, for an example, in the context of suicide as an attempt to have agency over your own life, to decide and take charge of your own fate. Defy a wrong and miserable situation that oppresses you. To pursue what is true to your senses and self, all that you are and ought to believe to be.
I find that beautiful. Beauty is honest, it is also true. Things that are beautiful are things that we can admire or can be inspired from.
Another note: things that are sad can also be beautiful. This fact is obvious. So really in itself, suicide could hold any kind of sentiment depending on the context. I'm sure there are some ugly suicides, gory and grotesque. Perhaps, a pathetic pointless end of a whimper to a devoid, miserable and meaningless life. Another, as overtly romantic(yet tragic) as Romeo and Juliet, "two-star-crossed lovers" declaring that through death, their love will forever be true. That the world without each other is a world worth not living in at all.
I think it all really depends on the person's reasoning for committing suicide and their method
It can be beautiful but it can also be disastrous and a complete mess
To me suicide always was and always will be a legal option under certain circumstances. Yes being reliefed form all agony and suffering is beautiful and desireable in any case and it's my personal wish. The problem is SI, people we do not want to hurt, fear of becoming a veggie due to unreliable and /or cruel methods and so on that mnakes CTB not beautiful for so many of us.
i think it's admirable that the person took their fate into their own hands, even though it's sad that life pushed them to that point. nobody deserves that to be their last resort and everyone should have the opportunity to get better, but life is not that simple and a lot of us are pushed into corners with endless cycles of misery and no real support/help to get better so it seems all that's left is the option of ending it all.
No one gets to the point of suicide from a beautiful life, they get there from agonizing pain. From horrible suffering to the extent that it overrides the basic human nature to survive. And the act of suicide is not beautiful, it is messy, there are bodily fluids everywhere to varying degrees depending on the method. The person dying is most likely in some degree of distress leading up to and possibly during the process. And the after math is so far from beautiful. There are the people who find you who will live with the image of a dead body for the rest of their life, there are the first responders who have to decide if you have any life left to save and then carry your dead body away, there's the people who have to clean up the scene left behind, and whether or not you think you have people left behind to miss you or not, at least one person will be left with the ugly fact of grief. I don't care if it's your boss or your landlord or your fucking cat, or the grocery story clerk, someone will grieve your death. Suicide is fucking ugly.
suicide is a really subjective thing, but i think what it signifies is beautiful. an escape, relief and ultimately peace. it might be different for everyone, some might want to go to heaven, some might want another chance to life and yet it's beautiful. it's like a piece of art only beautiful to those who understand it's meaning. therefore, like any other art, it's subjective.

however the actual act of suicide is like the light at the end of the tunnel. you must understand the point of view of the person who killed themselves. it's an act signifing hope and peace for the suicidal person.

I do understand the point of view of the person killing themselves. I've attempted three times, one of which was so close I needed CPR. I've been suicidal for 11 years. I still plan on committing suicide one day. That doesn't make it beautiful. I very much understand the relief and even excitement of being free from this pain, but I recognize what is left behind and am well acquainted with the complexities of actually trying to override survival instinct.
