It depends I guess. I've seen some people thrash and some don't.

trashing is the last defence mechanism for the body to survive without the air. so yes. i saw so many comments on this topic,when you start to trash your eyes rolls up and you are unconscious afterwards. as far as i know in partial theres more trashing than full
