When it comes to survival instinct? As in, the more you practice your method like partial hanging for instance, or the more occasions you stand at the cliff edge, the better you'll be able to overcome your SI and eventually go through with it?

It makes me wonder if celebrities like Chester Bennington and Chris Cornell had tried hanging before, or just became impulsive and were successful. Chester did have one previous suicide attempt that I know of. He tied himself up and jumped into the pool but managed to free himself and get out.
