As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.
Just weed, although ecigs are appealing, too bad they want to ban it. The stench was the part that turned me off mostly. The coughing issue that I've seen.
yeah. i took up vaping in an effort to stop, but now i just smoke and vape more. plus, the "smoking kills" label on every pack of them is super amusing. bloody hell, hurry up then!

I decided three years ago, that I only intended to live another 5-8 years. I also decided to make the most of my final years, and start being the person I want to be. To that end, I've been smoking a pipe for about a year now. Health-wise, it's far less harmful than cigarettes, but I'll be dead soon enough, so who cares anyway?
Fits pretty well with my existing "old man" reputation, which helps dissuade anyone from catching onto this act of self-destruction.
I don't smoke. My dad does though and because of it I started to hate the idea of smoking. He also drinks allot so i don't like alcohol allot either. I don't mind if people drink or smoke. I just don't wanna do it myself.
Currently yes but I've been off and on since I was a teen. Quit for years, months, weeks but eventually came back. I'm down to a half pack or less a day of 'lights' this go around. Relieves a lot of anxiety.
I've never smoked cigarettes regularly. Once in college I bought a pack of Marlboro Menthol lights. That pack lasted from several months. Never bought any cigarettes again. Haven't had a cigarette in years. I do still smoke pot though. I smoke about ~5-7g/week of flower. I take gummies (10-15mg) 3-5 nights a week. I get prefilled oil vape carts for quick/discreet/on the go use. But at home I'd prefer dabs.
My smoking habit changed from however many it turns on that specific day to precisely 36 cigarettes, hand rolled tobacco, 6mm short filters, per day - my then average. I've actually counted.
The reason for these exact numbers is astonishingly stupid - I'm now not allowed to quit because I'm preparing for surgery. Combined with nicotine that tainted my blood and organs in one way, and my meds having done so in another, my body still reached a fucked up equilibrium. I now need to keep that equilibrium in place until after the temporal lobecotomy, survive the probation time, and only then will I be allowed to seen myself off.
I wish I could show you the face of my then neuro when he slowly and carefully explained his reasoning. I've recently also verified this with my potential neurosurgeon as well. Should've taken a pic if his facepalm. So epic, so stupid.
For cigs, maybe just below a pack a day. Weed, around 1-4g of concentrate a week; 3-4g when chronic illness, insomnia, or stress is really hitting. I just made the full switch to dabs around a year and a half ago because I find it better for medicating, my flower intake now is only really if it's with tobacco.
Never have, Never will, grew up around it, made me feel so ill!!! My husband did heavily, the night I met him, I told him it was me or the smokes... he quit the next day never looked back
Yes, I've been smoking "for real" for 5/6 years now. I did stop for like two or three months but that wasn't because I wanted to really stop with it myself. Maybe I'll get back to that someday.
Yes but I've never touched a cigarette. I smoked pipes and cigars as well as having been a daily user of smokeless (dip & chew, sometimes swedish snus.) I started vaping last year though and I reserve all of the previously mentioned for infrequent use.
Yes. I smoke cigs...a lot. For maybe 50 years now. Started back in the day when it was socially acceptable. Now it has become expensive and a hassle but it is the one thing that gives me some small degree of comfort. I don't smoke around other people or out on the street, try to be polite about it.
Yeah they really are lol. I kinda just spend a few minutes on one, put it out, and then light it up again later. Maybe I'm saving money by spacing one out over a few hours
I just quit like 72 or so hours ago. The cravings haven't been too bad. There's a trick where if you put a bit of table salt on the tip of your tongue it kills the cravings. Probably getting me ready for the SN too when the time comes!
I started smoking at age 52 when I realized that I couldn't afford to retire. I wasn't thinking about ctb at that time. I smoke a pack a day now. People are mean about it though.
I have started smoking cigarettes again and have to get a vape again instead. My vape fell into the toilet a few months ago and I just quit, because I also use Snus. But then I started smoking again for the first time in 2 or 3 years, which really sucks. Snus>vaping>>>>>>>>>>>>>cigarettes tbh. Even snuff is better than fucking cigarettes.
