I am continually rereading the Sanskrit epics Mahabharata and Ramayana, and in addition always have an Italian novel on the go, currently Elena Ferrante's Neapolitan Quartet.

You understand the Hindu epics? I can't grasp them. Too many long names for one

I pretty much only read crime/detective/mystery/cozy mystery. I'm currently reading one book, with about another 100 Hardy Boys books to get through. And I just got more Nancy Drew as well. Also about 100. I read the Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew in between books.

I want to read more. School killed my enjoyment of reading for a while but I'd like to get back into it. I think it'd be a better use of my time than wasting time on Twitter and the like.

I'm not sure yet what I like to read, but I am interested in sci fi and horror.

I had to force myself to read at 20 out of a lack of things to do and then I eventually learned to enjoy it.

Try Isaac Asimov, Phillip k dick, Ray Bradbury for sci Fi. Stephen king and HP Lovecraft for horror.

Its a pity really.

I usually read before bed as a wind-down. Even if it's a few pages. The key is to find a book about something you enjoy. For me, it's the mystery genre. There are so many books out there these days in so many different genres.
