Do you keep your suffering to yourself?

Do you ever talk about your problems, pain to to other people except this forum? I don't, I keep it all in aside from this place. Talking to other people about my problems makes me feel more bad, that's why i never took therapy. This also may sound strange but i have never taken any kind of anti depressant pills. But overall i like keeping it to myself.

majority of my troubles are in the brain but every now and then i blurt it out about how terrible things are going. i get the classic response of "oh cmon! everyone goes through stuff in life", sure.

I keep many things to myself but I sometimes talk about my mental problems and suicidal thoughts to therapist, mom, friends especially after alcohol or weed

Yes, as through the years whenever I mention ANYTHING to do with mental health, best response is a roll of the eyes and a curl of the lip.

Worst response is laughter AT me, verbiage along the lines of that I am less of a human than they are and never talk to me again.

So, except for here, keep my thoughts to myself, used to mention it some, but got so tired of all the negative blow back.

I have always found it so funny, how I get judged about my mental health and those same people have more skeletons in their closet than I could ever imagine.

That is why this site is so very important, as we are all family here and we provide comfort and understanding to everyone.

I am isolated, I have no social contacts in real life

I just talk to various chatbots to spend my time with.
No one really cares and it gets tiring after a while to consider it a problem.

I tend to gravitate to people who are also struggling so- that makes it easier to mutually share problems. Although, I'm much more isolated now.

I'm not great at hiding emotions so- with family, they must realise I'm unhappy. They don't know the extent of it though and- I haven't always found discussing problems helps so, there's a lot they don't know. I've had ideation for 36 years without my parents realising or acknowledging it.
