May 2025, I've learned to cope by just letting go of everything, nothing matters anymore so theres no need to worry, no need to fear, as long as I get to die the way I want nothing else matters. I can spend the last 2 years of my life managing the resources I procure to enjoy myself. It's really comforting to think this way and counterintuitively it's helped my depression a lot, I'm a lot more active and social than I've ever been in my life now that I know Im going to ctb soon.

My time limit is a bit flexible as I have enough money to live for years with my family, but I'd rather go sooner (within the next few months) rather than later. If I don't CTB in the next few months, I might never get the motivation to CTB which is frightening to think about.

I cope by reminding myself that I don't have access to a good method yet, that I will soon and that it will all be over soon. It's better to be patient.

A year lol why are you stressing now?

that's the maximum, i don't exactly have a set date planned, it depends on my circumstances but i know i can't go on longer than that. i guess it just feels closer to me, a year can go quick especially when every day is repetitive and easy to forget.

sometimes i worry for the afterlife. i always thought i would face punishment but i try to get that belief out of my head. that's mostly the stressful part. regardless, i'll take whatever over this place

Financially I think I have at most 3(?) more months before I'll be forced onto the streets. I was hoping to finish CTB prep before, but my physical health took a rapid downturn and I wasn't able to do much in May/June when the more pleasant weather had previously lessened symptoms and allowed me to be more productive in the past 2-3 years. Sometimes I find myself wishing I could go back in time to around 2015 or a bit before to start prepping for CTB, and carrying it out in 2017 when I had the perfect opportunity to do so without hurting those around me (at least immediately - circumstances back then meant I could "disappear" and nobody would think anything of it until at least a year or two later).

Now that I have to rush, it's super stressful. Feels like the constant stress is breaking me down physically faster too.

No time limit for me, because I don't even know where my life is heading atp. Perhaps it'll just happen on a random day where I'm insane and high enough.

Completely depends for me, I have planned that if my report against my ex for sexual abuse falls flat I'll just ctb then, or if some even worse things happens in between the time when there's a court verdict and now.

Oh, since they didn't really go into any further detail, I just assumed it was some random thing. My bad. I personally have no set date for my CTB, because I'm still thinking it over, and also I have a crazy survival instinct, which doesn't help at all.

I was more stressed when I thought I was planning to CTB on my birthday. The whole month of May had me feeling incredibly anxious. I realized a lot of the anxiety and general "doom" feeling was my reflecting on it being 10 years since my first solid, near successful attempt on my 30th birthday. I felt like it had to come full circle, I had to finish what I wasn't able to when I turned 30. I was being very hard on myself.

Then when the day passed, I felt a lot less anxious. The self-imposed pressure went way. I feel ready, and confident in my chosen method (SN). I could go any day and be alright with it.

How am I coping? Weed helps.

I would never put myself under additional pressure with a time limit to ctb. It's either I have my method ready to go or not. When the time is there and when the point of total desperation and hopelessness is reached I hope I will find the strength to just do it.
