lol i know i keep coming on here with a new epiphany like every other day detailing my new plans and methods but right now I think train will be the most immediate and practical option in my situation. I really really really really wish I just had a gun because I like the idea of shooting myself in the head, I feel like that sounds especially tragic. like,
"omg remember iwashere from high school? she died bro."
"whaaat, how?"
"she fucking shot herself dude"
not saying that i want my ending to be tragic but i want it to be pretty violent?? i don't even know what im trying to say but as ive stated tens and thousands of other times in other posts, im too scared to jump off a building. i just feel like with my luck i would survive and i cant be convinced otherwise. plus i just feel like it would hurt. atleast shooting yourself it ends pretty fast. this leads me to my point of contention and the reason for the title of this post—i think im gonna throw myself in front of a train!! I feel like that sounds genuinely AWFUL :D!!! at the same time though i'm SO FUCKING SCARED because HOW DO YOU DO THAT?? i'd argue that's harder than throwing yourself off a bridge. i heard that you pretty much die on impact so in that aspect i equate it to a gunshot. but i feel like it's gonna hurt so fucking bad!!! i guess i can't just choose a violent method though and expect it to be all sunshine and rainbows. I'm not interested in overdosing or using SN anymore because of all the intricacies and honestly I feel like that's not as tragic as hearing that i threw myself in front of a train. maybe im psychotic but these are just my thoughts. i guess i want my ending to be very messy because i feel like it would tell everybody like Shittt she really was off her rocker. and lowkey she kinda brave

what about like a regular cargo train. how fast do them mfs go? Anybody know?? i have an overwhelming urge to do it right now but the trains don't run on schedules and im not going to throw myself in from of an amtrak. i feel like that wouldn't kill me bc im like built different idk also i dont want to traumatize like 30 other people. also sooo embarassing cause imagine u dont even die and u just caused this big train to derail and now everybody is looking at u sprawled on the floor like Lois Griffin looking dumb asab and five phones around recording it

Yeah it's possible to survive even a high speed train impact. To be killed instantly you do need some luck, and you have to hope the train hasn't been designed to prevent suicide deaths. It's a risk, it might be painful or you might get lucky. The only sure fire way to guarantee CTB is euthanasia unless you can get a shotgun and don't flinch.

i'm like thinking about it right now and it sounds like a horror movie in my head!! i pull up to the tracks, it's dark outside. train is rolling down the tracks— showtime!! i throw myself in front of the train and just the literal noise of the train horn and seeing the tracks in front of you and just knocking out and all the noise of ur bones cracking… this shit is barbaric !!! and then waking up on the tracks and ur whole body is sore and ur leg is on the other side of the track and ur fingers are all twisted

Maybe jumping in front of a train isn't the best way that the train can kill you. Just think about it, that train could just bounce you to the side and break and bunch of bones. Or maybe even your spine so you end up a head on a dead body.

Best case scenario is that you get knocked out instantly and have no awareness of pain. But highly doubt you instantly "die" from impact. It just doesn't happen like that. Maybe with a guillotine, but I doubt that, too (chickens still running around after head cut off, although with head separated from body, they shouldn't feel anything afterwards). You know, authorities - doctors, law enforcement, etc - like to tell families of victims that their loved ones died instantly from (whatever event), that their loved ones didn't suffer, but that's a just bunch of bullshit and blown smoke, only said to make the families feel better, at least about that part of the situation. That's my take, anyway.

Impacts are "funny" business. No telling how you'd end up after being struck. You could end up a great distance away from the train after inititial impact.

not scared of dying, i have an intense phobia of pain lol. i always told my friends if some random guy on the street kidnapped me and wanted to kill me id allow him, id just please request you don't stab me and do something that will put me out instantly. because if i fight with them i run the risk of them punching me in the nose and that's a pain i don't ever want to imagine!! if i had a gun id do it right now just don't have the funds lolz

When I was in college there was a train that ran through town and campus. It was going slow and people would jump into an empty box car for a ride to the coast. Then when you are ready to go back we just waited for the train. It was all fun and games until....

One student that was working his way through school as an paramedic decided to hop the train for the weekend. He was wearing his backpack with his gear in it. Standard practice was to throw your gear on and then jump on. As he went to jump the weight of his backpack pulled him backwards and he fell onto his back. His legs ended up across the track and the train took them off above his knees. He survived but his life was very different after his accident.

Just think if the train ran over your neck or shoulders. Or even your head.

yes i think about this a lot. this seems to be pretty divided; some people say it's pretty instant and others say it's an awful way to go. regardless, im not considering it anymore
