Do you ever get exhausted and down from people asking you for stuff

I get so tired of the constant needs the world has. Everything from calls and meetings to requests for feedback. Ever try to buy something and not leave any information. The retail would almost rather not sell it to you. Do you get tired of marketing wanting to engage. I recall a time where I was sitting outside and reading and a man came up who wanted to talk because he was asking for money and I simply said, cutting him off "I'm sorry I don't want to engage with anyone". He was angry. I get the same thing from sales reps in my job "can we talk to you to learn more about your business..." "I'd rather not engage at all and please do not call me back". They get upset.

What if I just want no engagement. I'd like to make purchases sparingly without the retailer collecting any market data on me, without them knowing who I am or what made me purchase the item and that's it. If I come back it's up to me. I wish I had no home, no address, no way to be contacted.

Oh, a HUGE yes to your question. Throughout my 66 plus years I have always had to endure folks, from asking for money, to my favorite "may I ask you 1 question?" umm. NO, you may not!

One of the most interesting aspects of folks that engage in this type of behavior, is the fact that if the tables would be turned and they were the ones at the brunt end of the stick, they would either be mad or at least irritated. So goes some types of human nature.

I truly feel your anguish, as I am also in the same boat, as so many other are also, I suspect.

BUT! I wish you an outstanding weekend filled with music, food, drink and plenty of sunny skies.

It's like "How dare you refuse your barecode tatoo, slave, now bow down to my every desires while I fly away with your credit cards like a virtual vulture".

I hate telemarketting. I pity people with those soul crushing jobs. But I despise them too. If we need those jobs, the world is overpopulated

oh do i ever relate. i find all of that engagement meaningless and exhausting. it could be because i'm a total introvert but i avoid it as much as possible. i just want to buy the thing in the most invisible way possible without any exchange so i can go home and pretend i don't exist lol.
