• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

    👉 View the ledger here

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I go to church from time to time, and in the last few months I am asking God for forgiveness for what I'm about to do (ctb).

I used to, but it was not helping. I had a nice volunteer experience with them but besides that it was just sort of there, taking my limited time & energy once a week for nothing, because, y'know, I wasn't supposed to expect to have a helping, supportive community from it, why should I, when you can just tell God all of your problems & hope he takes care of them? (not to mention the gossip sometimes made my life worse)

I believe in a higher power, GOD, but I would NEVER EVER go to any form of a church or organized religion ever.

All organized religion is about money, money and power.

Every time someone "invites" me to their religious services, their almost always tell me that they have "an offering".

Should it not be about saving a person's soul and/or helping the person in general, why even bring up the money angle and especially right off the bat????

Nope, never me in any form of being in a building with "services"

If one cannot try and live a decent life, going to a building and throw money into a plate, will NOT do any good whatsoever.

What is a secular humanist house of worship, or what could it look like?

I'm asking because I think churches and synagogues, despite all the issues I see with religion, have offered real value to their communities.
