• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

I stay in my power

I live in a Protestant environment. As a Protestant, you assume that God is loving and who, above all, wants to help people who are suffering. In this Christian belief, all people go to heaven. Of course also suicides. God is always love.

I myself am indifferent in my faith. I'm socialized as a Christian, so I already feel connected to it, but inside I can do a lot more with the ideas of Buddhism. But at the same time I also have a rational side of me that thinks it's all just for peace of mind and social order. Then again, there are moments when I think there must be something higher than myself.

Scientifically speaking, energy is not lost. Where does the energy of consciousness come from, where does it go.

To your question: I personally believe that I have to master a certain task in life. If I don't finish them, I'll get them again in the next life. But no God is angry or disappointed about this but he/she/it is like a patient teacher, like a loving parent and will welcome me with compassion, kindness and love and tell me that I can rest and when I am ready I can continue to work on my life's task in a new life. Heaven is unconditional love, there is no room for accusations, punishments, judgment. But if I take the shortcut by committing suicide, I won't have gained anything, I have to complete the task at some point, maybe it will take me a long time, maybe it will happen quickly.

Fight for your life as long and as persistently as possible - and beyond. But if nothing really works anymore, then go. Without fear of God.

I personally believe in a "higher power" & a higher purpose in life. I believe we are here to learn & our spirit is housed in our physical body. I don't believe in hell.
I think that this higher power loves us but granted us free will to do as we wish in order to learn.
I'm spiritual but not religious at all. 🤗🌹💔

From a Christian perspective, no. Sewer slide is a sin as it is murdering oneself, yes~ But even tho it may very well be the last thing a person does in their life, it is not described as an "unforgivable sin" that bars one from Heaven regardless of the possible impossibility of repenting of it~
From a Protestant perspective, one is saved by their faith in God, His sacrifice on the cross for our sins, and our doing our best to follow Him~ As such, we will trip, fall, and make mistakes (including perhaps, committing sewer slide)~ While we won't know who goes to Heaven for certain until we get there, people who commit sewer slide certainly aren't all doomed to Hell~ Those who have faith in God in spite of their struggles with sin will almost certainly go to Heaven as everyone struggles with it after all~ :)
I'm sure God understands that many times, it is the result of the despair, hopelessness, and pain one experiences in their life and things looking ever bleaker~ :)

If I was Christian, man... i had a lot of sins during my life for what priests says about sin.

I kinda believe in some kinda of "hell", it's for terrible souls that commit terrible sins that affected many lifes, like suffering, pain.

Do you think Hitler deserves to go to heaven after all he did? He and his army did a genocide, human experiences, killed woman and children.

If I CTB, I think a lot about this and I'm ready to go to hell if I deserve.

If you "empty your cup" (get rid of ideas, beliefs, etc) like they say in Zen Buddhism, you will understand some things more.
Meditation is one way to achieve this.

So things like Heaven and Hell, will make little sense. These are only in the mind and Heaven imo, are positive mindstates and Hell, negative ones.

This Zen Buddhist story explains it better:

A big, tough samurai once went to see a little monk. "Monk," he said, in a voice accustomed to instant obedience, "teach me about heaven and hell!"

The monk looked up at this mighty warrior and replied with utter disdain, "Teach you about heaven and hell? I couldn't teach you anything. You're dirty. You smell. Your blade is rusty. You're a disgrace, an embarrassment to the samurai class. Get out of my site, I can't stand you."

The samurai was furious. He shook, got all red in the face, was speechless with rage. He pulled out his sword and raised it above him, preparing to slay the monk.

"That's hell," said the monk softly.

The samurai was overwhelmed. The compassion and surrender of this little man who had offered his life to give this teaching to show him hell! He slowly put down his sword, filled with gratitude, and suddenly peaceful.

"And that's heaven," said the monk softly.

Mahayana Buddhism basically says Samsara (Hell) and Nirvana (Hell) are one and the same. For those of us who are not always in a positive mindstate (if that is even possible), it's helpful to just be mindful/conscious of whatever state your mind is now.

Like the image of the Buddha who oversees all the realms of samsare, you are conscious whatever state you are presently in, and if you happen to take "rebirth" in an unpleasant state, you can always remember that "this too shall pass".

Jesus did say that if we believe in him we will not die even if we die. He died in our stead so that our sins would be forgiven. Many point at the commandment "You shall not kill" and say suicide is to kill which makes it a sin, but Jesus took our sins upon himself when he was tortured and killed.

So if we trust that God is all-knowing and that the spark of light and love within us comes from him, that we are all his children and that he knows and understands us more than the most loving parent could ever do, shouldn't we trust that he forgives us?

I had a friend who killed himself in the late 2000's. I forgave him instantly because I knew the pain he was carrying. His mother was murdered 10 years before and the killer, an abusive man she had a relationship with, also killed himself. My friend's mother was his closest loved one and his father didn't care much. If I as a mere human understood, accepted and forgave him, wouldn't the greatest, most enlightened and knowledgeable being in existence also understand, accept and forgive?

I think God's mercy may be greater than we can imagine, we just have to trust him. Look at the atrocities committed in wars around the world where people torture and kill innocent men, women and children just because they find some twisted, evil, personal "joy" in it. Those are the ones who should truly fear God's judgement I think since they're rebelling against all that is good. We don't feel suicidal because of a wish to rebel, but a humble wish for the peace we lack in life.

That's what I choose to believe anyway. I have doubts sometimes just like anyone but all in all I choose to believe that God is truly good beyond our comprehension.

God bless you all and the best of luck and peace no matter what happens to you all! ❤️

Way I see it, I'm just getting reincarnated forever (or until the creator is done) mixed up with other souls on death and distributed into new souls, though suicide is certainly not a physical or spiritual positive. But I'd expect the creator to 'care' as much as I'd care if a cell died early or hair broke instead of falling out naturally. Never asked for the divine spark. The cosmos was prettier without life anyway.

But wtf do I know))
