Discussion Do prisoners have the ability to CTB?

I wonder if prisoners can escape prison by means of death? Or It doesn't really matter to them? They were happy with the consequences of their crimes? I don't know how they can maintain theor mental health in prison. Any thoughts?

People have hanged themselves in prison before, usually with bed sheets or other means. It depends but if the guards arent dumb it will be hard or next to impossible

Some have managed to cut themselves, too, with a homemade shank of some sort, in order to CTB. Some guards couldn't care less if certain inmates kill themselves.

i've watched documentaries on this. almost anything can be done in prison. they just have to be willing to do certain things and make the right connections. the guards there are crooked too taking bribes here and there for either turning a blind eye or even aiding them by smuggling in contraband for them. but most prefer life and adapt. i don't know what the fda is worried about. most people want to live - even in shitty circumstances. they act like humanity will disappear if they let the n flow again.

If they actually want ctb, they will do it in any circumstances. Heck even your t-shirt is more than enough to be able to ctb.

Depends on their sentence. The worse the crime the person committed, the more vigilant they are and its almost impossible to ctb. The worse crimes they want the person alive to live with the guilt

People have managed to commit suicide in all sorts of confined circumstances. It's incredible what people wil do when desperate enough.

I suppose the interesting question would be- if assisted suicide was legalised for adults- Should they have the right to request it? Which is the worst punishment? To live with what they've done or- to die? Probably depends on the person.

Not really. I feel like anybody that is going to prison is gonna have a really hard time with ctb

Since at that point they want you to live out that whole sentence so you can pay for what you did and by dying that is a cheap escape in their eyes.

Or if they want you to ctb, if you've done something like cp or child abuse, people tend to turn a blind eye
Otherwise yes it's hard, prison is a slave system in some countries, they'd wanna keep you

Certain? Like what? Murderers? Rapists?

If they actually want ctb, they will do it in any circumstances. Heck even your t-shirt is more than enough to be able to ctb.

Probably child rapists and murderers mostly.

I worked in a prison and yes they CTB but it's not really common. Even people on death row in the most inhumane parts of the prison still want to live. I can't explain it, I would definitely CTB. I think it was Charles Manson who was up for parole and he told the board he did NOT want to leave prison because he got all the sex, booze and drugs he needed so he didn't want to leave

Yes, some people are happy in prison, because they work with other inmates to cause mischeif.

I wouldn't use the word "mischief" but yes they cause havoc and hell in larger groups
